"Earth's crammed with heaven, And every common bush afire with God, But only he who sees takes off his shoes, The rest sit 'round it and pluck blackberries."

Accomplishments

On week two of skipping out on blogs, I thought I should report on all those things I'm accomplishing instead. Prepare to be amazed, people!!

First:

I took E to her first two days of preschool. I managed, quite nicely, to forget her birthday treat on both days. (Luckily the mother of another child who had a birthday was not so remiss -E informed me that I should learn how to make chocolate cookies with white chocolate chips.) I also was able to forget her backpack on her second day of school. She got to take a plastic bag with her that I happened to have in the car. Talk about planning ahead!!!

Second:

I started teaching ballet again. On only my second day back, I left Grant's milk at home in the fridge. This meant that my Prep2 girls got the blessed experience of watching their new teacher breastfeed her son while they did their plies. I am teaching life skills, my friends. Life skills. How to breastfeed while turning on the music and counting out a ballet exercise. If only you were as cool as me.

Third:

third.... third.... what was the third thing I accomplished? I am not quite sure. Perhaps I will get back to you on that. And perhaps I will upload some pictures from E's birthday party before she turns 5.

I LOVE that you breastfed Grant while you taught! What a great lesson for those girls, to see breastfeeding as a normal, everyday thing in a mom's life. THUMBS UP!
