"Earth's crammed with heaven, And every common bush afire with God, But only he who sees takes off his shoes, The rest sit 'round it and pluck blackberries."

Do You Need Teeth for That?

Today I had a meeting to look over the theatre we're using for our performance.  GQ was really, really enjoying it.  He was enjoying it so much that he could not help writhing and screaming in his stroller.  Luckily, I had a sucker.  So, I gave it to him.

Later, he gave me back a sucker stick that was approximately 1/2 inch long.  I found no vestiges of sucker stick anywhere around him.  I am pretty certain he ate it.

So, did he just get it so wet and soggy with slobber that it went right down?
Did he chew it with his few and far between teeth?
Was it really so boring hanging out with me that eating cardboard seemed like a reasonable thing to do?

Yum.

(I suppose it was better than when we were cleaning the Church on Saturday and M was feeding him chewed gum from the garbage cans.)
