After getting out of the car after a long ride today, I was a little grumpy and frustrated. I said such useful things as:
"stop that"
"not in the kitchen"
"stop that"
"wait A minute"
and
"stop that"
I did not say them in the nicest tones.
Later, I felt bad and said to the children:
"I am sorry I was frustrated and grumpy. Thank you for being patient with me."
Said M: "It's okay, Mom. We do that so you can learn how to be patient."

At dinner E was spelling our Family Home Evening treat to Justin: "C - O - O - K - E - S."
Replied Justin: "No, it is C - O - O - C - K - I - E - S."
I couldn't help but laugh.

Currently we are all dying of mercury poisoning because a lightbulb exploded at our house. What a dumb idea to put mercury in lightbulbs.
Just saying

I wanted to tell you Happy Belated Birthday!!....and congrats on another little guy!
haha what a kind daughter to put such effort into teaching you such a valuable virtue
I say things in a not very nice tone to my kids on an almost daily basis but I don't usually apologize for it unless I was super-grumpy. You're a nice mom!
BTW, I recently changed my blog URL by dropping the "blogspot" and for some reason my new posts aren't updating in some of my friend's feeds, so if you want to you can change my URL to thedollsweetjournal.com and it may help fix it. Aargh! Thanks :)
Wish I could have been there for some of those "coockies!"
The only problem with teaching our children to read with the distar method I used was the spelling problem!!!!!! OH WELL!!!! They seemed to have managed to make it in the world....!!!!!
Jamie, THANKS for BEING patient!!!
Love,
Grandma Paula
