This photo is entitled: "To Veto Dress Choices, Or Not To Veto."
Help us please!
Eating doughnuts with Daddy. Although I must say this doughnut shop... the only one in Iowa... does not win any stars. Tragically. But you should have seen the faces of the other customers when E walked in. (See above photo for a reminder.)
This photo is entitled: "Look Mom, I am really pregnant."
And this is Justin's tortilla de patata (which I spelled wrong) that he has been craving for a year now, and finally made this past Sunday.
There was a less glarey picture (yes, that is a word) but Justin looked like his eyes were rolling into the back of his head on that one.

oh my word, you're adorable. :) And I say don't veto. Its probably not worth the fight and other people (at least those with kids) know that you didn't dress her. I am, however, not above least favorite peices of clothing mysteriously going missing after a laundry cycle... ;0)
You look great! I gave up the veto with my kids' creative fashion sense a long time ago. Now that they're older and I figure their friends care more, I occasionally give strong suggestions. And I save the veto for questions of modesty.
Your kids look so cute in that first picture. Love Ellie's outfit. Your belly picture makes me so happy. It is so cute!
You have to let me know where that donut shop is, even if it wasn't very good. I've been looking for one here. They are everywhere back East and I miss them!
I say no veto too, unless it's immodest/inappropriate. I love seeing kids out and about in crazy clothes...sometimes they're my kids :) You look adorable, too, by the way :)
Grandma Paula says "No" to the veto too!!! Shows GREAT self-confidence ON YOUR PART!!! I agree with the modesty issue being one worth vetoing on....hopefully not a problem, especially for NOW!!!
THESE KIDS ARE TOOOOOOOO CUTE! Perhaps Ellie will be a fashion designer and we will ALL be amazed at what she accomplishes with her unique sense of style!
Jamie, ARE YOU SURE YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE IT TO FEBRUARY!!???!!! You always seem so SMALL to me, but NOT IN THIS PICUTRE!!!!
Love,
Grandma Paula
PS. The potato dish Justin made looks GREAT! Can I get the recipe?...seriously....
Love,
MOM
Well, if you're worried about Ellie's choice of clothes, you better see Sofia's outfits. At least in my opinion Ellie is wearing matching colors. Surprisingly I no longer experience the embarrassment or bothersomeness I used to as a result of Sofia's eclectic sense of style. I guess I'm assuming she'll grow out of it at some point . . . at least I'm hoping.
You look good! Glad that baby is growing!
