"Earth's crammed with heaven, And every common bush afire with God, But only he who sees takes off his shoes, The rest sit 'round it and pluck blackberries."

This winter...

... we are growing flowers.

It is fun to see how much they change overnight.  Now, if only I can keep M from squeezing the tips together whenever she gets the chance.

I love growing bulbs in the winter. I have a hyacinth bulb sitting on my counter that looks like it might be ready to grow if I put it in soil. I've always wanted to do paperwhites, but I hear that they're smelly! You'll have to let me know.

I love growing flowers inside in the winter because it can really cheer things up and make spring seem nearer!
