Lost

On the last day before school, we went to the pool.  E often holds my rings while I put sunscreen on all the kids, but this time our carefully laid plans went awry - and my wedding ring ended up in the grated gutter of the pool.

While we are working on getting it back (highschool and college swim employees require lots of talking to, I'll tell you what!) we have to wait until they drain the pool.  Hopefully my ring does not head out to the duck pond.

Meanwhile, I am wearing the following:

this is an actual gumball ring I obtained in college and used to wear then because I liked it.  I guess it's good I kept it around all these years.

Of course, if the ring is lost forever I plan on picking a different fake ring.
