Once Upon A Time, May 1st Was Warm

The first year we were married, we learned not to fight over whether or not it was good to clean the house with Windex.

The second year we were married, we promised to recite over and over the mantra: "Never buy a dog, never buy a dog, never buy a dog."

The third year we were married, we discovered who was really in charge. Just in case you were wondering, it starts with an E and ends with llie.

The fourth year we were married, a red-headed snippet arrived to give E a run for her money.

The fifth year we were married, we apparently learned nothing, since I can't think of anything clever at this point.

And the sixth year we were married, we got a GQ to squirm about the house.

I'm glad it was sunny then. It's been a fun six years. For the next six we'll be discovering Iowa.
