"Earth's crammed with heaven, And every common bush afire with God, But only he who sees takes off his shoes, The rest sit 'round it and pluck blackberries."

Carillon Concert

We went to listen to BYU's bell tower this past week. It was great when the bells started. Our M has always been so interested in music. She just froze and stared upward.

GQ enjoyed eating grass and tearing apart all the flowers E brought back to us.

But the greatest part - which we tried to get a picture of, but of course they stopped when we got the camera out - was that E and M got up right by the bells and danced every time they played. Then, when everyone clapped for the music, they bowed, as though the audience were clapping just for them. I'm pretty sure E and M think they are the center of the universe.
Maybe they are.

we had this on our list to do the last 2 years....and we never did make it! I'm so glad to know someone that did, because I always wondered how it actually was. Now I sort of know - but I think the best part would have been watching your girls dance. That would have definitely been the favorite performance of the evening by far.

They are all growing up so fast! I still remember E at the football games when we would take the kids out to run out their wiggles - M was your baby then! How time really does fly :)
