"Earth's crammed with heaven, And every common bush afire with God, But only he who sees takes off his shoes, The rest sit 'round it and pluck blackberries."

I'm Sorry, But It's True...

Sometimes when I find small toys on the ground, and I know that small children might pop them in their mouths...

Instead of throwing them away... because I am slightly OCD and you never know when you might need a small pink doll shoe, or a miniature kitchen knife, or a brush shrunk to teensy size...

I put them in between the couch cushions....

So I can decide later what to do with them.

This is extraordinarily useful.

And I know you wanted to know it.

Love it... I can picture it in my head and it makes me want to just giggle. I am sure this bit of information will come in handy with subsequent kiddos!

I am going to start doing this! We lose lego pieces all the time - I'm too tired to trek them ALL the way down our hallway (because it's oh so big in an apartment!). Still, great idea - and I love that you shared it instead of panicking that people now know what's under your couch cushions. Bless you for helping us all be a bit more sane!
