Should we take Quasimodo to the Doctor?
Wow. This is even bigger in person. Talk about your goose egg. He only stops grinning when we try to put ice on it. Poor guy.
Ouch!! Head bumps tend to swell...a lot. When Ethan was that age, he hit the back of his head, and it split open. It was so, so swollen (about 3/4"), and gushing blood. We took him the doctor on that one and he got stitches. I tend to not rush to the doctor unless it's apparent that they need stitches, they're acting funny, or they throw up right after it happens. Keep an eye on it, and follow your gut. Ouch!!
Nah! Don't take him to the doctor! My Park gets goose eggs like that all the time! (His head is rather large for his body and he tends to be a little top-heavy) It looks nasty, but there isn't a whole lot to do about it.
