E-isms
E (as she authoritatively reads from her little golden book of Bible stories): Adam was once a naked prophet.... right, Mom?
I love how funny kids are about religion. I sat in a church meeting with kids once and the adults were telling the story of Jericho with Rahab and whatnot. Then the adults asked the kids, "So, if someone came into your city and said that God told them to spy on your city and that you should help them, would you do it???" All the adults are nodding "yeeeessss" in that blank-staring face and the kids start the wide-eyed, open-mouthed nodding all the while I'm the only one with a baffled look on my face shaking my head, "nooooooo." Oh well. Sometimes even the grown-ups get different things out of the stories than I do. :)

I think this is one of my favorites so far.
I used to hate it when people kept asking me this, but I can't resist. No baby yet? ;)
